Simple steps
The preview helps identify the device and original network details you provide. Only the original carrier can confirm account-specific unlock eligibility.
Find the 15-digit IMEI by dialing *#06# or in Settings → About, then enter it in the Device Check form for this Pixel 8 Pro.
Select where this Pixel 8 Pro was originally locked and the carrier that sold it. This may differ from your current SIM provider.
Press “Check my device” to validate the number and look for a possible catalog match for your Pixel 8 Pro. This preview does not check carrier lock or unlock eligibility.
If you know the original carrier, follow its official eligibility and unlock process. The free check does not submit or perform an unlock.
A catalog match estimates the manufacturer or model from the IMEI’s TAC. It does not reveal whether this Pixel 8 Pro is network locked, blacklisted, paid off, or eligible for an unlock. Ask the original carrier to verify those details.
Read the broader Google Pixel unlock guide for brand-specific information.

Contact the original mobile network with the device details. Only that carrier can confirm its account, contract, and unlock eligibility requirements.
